The Clark County Water Reclamation District (District) announced lane restrictions from May 2 through at least June 30 as part of a sewer rehabilitation project on Eastern Avenue.
Northbound Eastern Avenue traffic will be reduced to two travel lanes from north of Reno Avenue through the intersection at Tropicana Avenue. Eastbound Tropicana Avenue traffic will be reduced to two travel lanes from west of Burnham Avenue to Topaz Street. One left-turn lane from westbound Tropicana Avenue to southbound Eastern Avenue will be restricted. Access to driveways will be maintained.
Work on Eastern Avenue and Tropicana Avenue will be conducted Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Lane restrictions may be in place 24 hours a day because of pumping operations.
While work is taking place, drivers should take precautions, use alternate routes and allow extra time when traveling through the impacted area.
