Hash House A Go Go Hosts its Third Annual Corned Beef Eating Contest

On Thursday, March 17th, 8 Las Vegas Residents will be part of the St. Patrick's Day Festivities by taking part in the corned beef eating contest. People are welcome to come and cheer people on as they try to finish 1.5 pounds of corned beef and a 1/4 cabbage in 15 minutes. Whomever finished first, of finishes the most, will be the winner.

For those who are not competeting but still would like to celebrate, the restaurant will feature Irish-themed food and drink specials throughout the day including a special St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Charms pancake, stuffed corned beef sandwich, Irish coffee, Irish Snake Bite and several others. Happy hour at the Sahara location will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring $2 green beer and complimentary mini Hash House corned beef sandwiches and homemade potato chips. The first 50 people to arrive for happy hour will receive their first beer free.

Herbs & Rye is an old fashioned place, a restaurant with a limited menu and a bar with an amazing cocktail list that groups drinks by era!

Casting about the wonderful World Wide Web while doing a bit of advance research on Herbs & Rye, I was positively flummoxed by a description of the decor as "goth."

This weekend saw the LBS Patty Wagon face off against Slidin' Thru and Fukuburger in the Battle Royale with Cheese Street Food Thowndown. The crowd spoke, and LBS Patty Wagon was the winner, congrats to them and all the competitors!

This Sunday, three street food trucks, Slidin' Thru, Fuku Burger, and LBS Patty Wagon will be having a showdown to determine which truck can claim ultimate burger supremacy here in Las Vegas! The throwdown will be happening outside of Studio 21 Tattoo Gallery, 6020 W Flamingo Rd, and will run from 6pm to 10pm. Come cheer on your favorite!
