LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police have arrested a man who they say punched another man so hard it snapped his neck.

According to an arrest report released Wednesday, the suspect, 21-year-old Alex Vongsouphanh was at The Venetian Hotel when it happened on Dec. 28, 2014.

The victim, William Yar Parke, was having a party for his girlfriend, Chriszhan “Nicole” Fontanilla's birthday. Vongsouphanh was one of the guests.

The party was getting too loud, so Parke asked several people including, Vongsouphanh and an unidentified man who goes by the name “Minox," to leave The report said Vongsouphanh and “Minox” stayed at the hotel for a while.

When the party was over Parke, and other guest headed for the valet lobby near the hotel shopping mall area. Police said that's when “Minox” started walking aggressively towards Parke, but Fontanilla tried to calm “Minox” down.

As Fontanilla tried to pull "Minox" away, Vongsouphanh got in Parke's face and punched him, according to the report.

Metro said Parke's neck snapped to the right before he fell to the floor and hit his head. Parke was immediately knocked unconscious.

Parke was taken to Sunrise Hospital, and later pronounced dead.
