LAS VEGAS -- The woman accused of cutting another woman at the Bellagio told police she would have killed the woman if she hadn't been stopped.
Brenda Stokes also known as Brenda Wilson, 50, told police she was receiving harassing phone calls from the victim, Joyce Rhone. Both work at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino.
According to the arrest report for Stokes, Rhone was cut with razor blades and suffered deep lacerations to her face. Rhone was dealing cards at the time of the attack.
When police asked Stokes how far the incident would have gone if she hadn't been stopped, she said, "I would have whooped that ass, I would have killed her."
Stokes told police she had gone to her doctor earlier in the day and asked to be admitted to a hospital because she was feeling like she wanted to hurt someone.
Stokes was arrested for burglary, battery with a deadly weapon, battery with use of a deadly weapon-substantial bodily harm and mayhem.
