County Passes Strip Littering Ordinance
LAS VEGAS -- Clark County commissioners have passed a law requiring people giving out handbills and pamphlets on the Las Vegas Strip to clean up the items from sidewalks and storm drains.
The ordinance directed at the so-called "smut peddlers" was modified. Initially, any cards dropped on the street within a 50-foot radius would be the responsibility of the peddler. Commissioners agreed to reduce the radius to 25 feet.
