LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A seductive Las Vegas Strip pirate show that had been on a scheduled hiatus through Christmas has now been permanently called off.
A Treasure Island casino spokeswoman confirmed Monday that "Sirens of TI" has been cancelled, citing an ongoing project to build a shopping center there. She didn't have details about the number of cast members affected or how they were notified of the closure.
The open-air show closed on Oct. 20 and was previously set to resume its schedule of multiple nighttime performances the day after Christmas.
A more traditional pirate show had occupied the space before it was revamped into a sexier show in 2003.
"Sirens" earned a lackluster two-star review on the website Yelp.
