Frankie Valli, The Four Seasons to Get Vegas Star

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Cast members and casino officials plan to mark the fifth anniversary of the Las Vegas Strip headline show "Jersey Boys" with the installation of a "Las Vegas Walk of Stars" marker honoring Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

Organizers say Valli and original Four Seasons backup singer Bob Gaudio will take part in the Thursday afternoon ceremony in front of the Paris Las Vegas resort.

"Jersey Boys" opened in 2008 and has played close to 2,000 performances. It recounts the rise of a blue-collar group from Newark, N.J., to stardom over the last 50 years performing songs like "Sherry" and "Walk Like A Man."

The star will be the 64th unveiled on Las Vegas Boulevard since Wayne Newton was honored with the first marker in October 2004.
