Boyz II Men Announce Headlining Gig at Mirage

Boyz II Men Announce Headlining Gig at Mirage

A top R&B group from the 1990s announced it will start a headlining residency at the Mirage March 1.

Boyz II Men made the announcement at news conference Thursday. The group will perform weekend shows at the Terry Fator Theatre.

The group is best known for the 1991 smash "Motownphilly" has won four Grammys and is known as the most successful male R&B group in history.

The group says it will, of course, play its biggest hits but fans will get some surprises.

"We do a variety of songs. Songs that are not just our own but songs from the 70s and the 80s. We do some doo-wop. You are going to hear some a cappella. So, it is going to be a variety of entertaining things going on that people will be able to get into," Nathan Morris of Boys II Men said.

Tickets are on sale now, starting at $40. There will be 78 shows from March through the end of the year.
