Illness Forces Dion to Cancel Shows

Celine Dion is canceling her performances at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace starting Tuesday through Friday because of an illness.

According to Caesars Palace, Dion was recovering from the flu last week, when she developed sinusitis.

Her doctor has put her on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine. The singer has also been told to rest for seven days to fully recover.

Performances for February 26 through March 16 will go on as scheduled.

People who bought tickets to the canceled shows with a credit card will automatically have those charges refunded. People who bought tickets with cash can get a refund by taking the tickets back to where they bought them. For those who bought tickets through Ticketmasters, call 1-877-4-CELINE (1-877-423-5463).
