Woman Involved in Fatal Crash Surrenders to Jail

LAS VEGAS -- The woman involved in a fatal crash on January 11 has turned herself in to the Clark County Detention Center.

An NHP spokesman says an arrest warrant was issued for Natalie Dubuisson, who disappeared after being involved in the fatal crash. Weeks later, she later contacted authorities through her attorney.

Police say the crash happened on southbound I-15 near Blue Diamond Road. NHP said Dubuisson left the scene after her vehicle hit a pickup truck from behind, causing it to crash and then hit an SUV.

The woman driving the SUV was killed when she was thrown from her vehicle. She was not wearing a seatbelt. The man driving the pickup suffered minor injuries.

Dubuisson has been charged with felony reckless driving with death, felony reckless driving with substantial bodily harm, felony hit and run, and failure to render aid.

Dubuisson has a previous prostitution arrest and last year was charged with possession of cocaine, burglary and extortion. Those charges were later dropped.

Dubuisson has also been cited several times for traffic violations. Court records show 11 citations issued to Dubuisson over the last six years, including speeding, driving on a revoked license and driving with expired license plates. Dubuisson currently has four open traffic cases.
