Injured worker rescued from top of Resorts World construction site

The Clark County Fire Department had to rescue an injured construction worker from the top of the Resorts World building Monday. The Clark County Fire Department said firefighters were called to 3000 Las Vegas Blvd. around 12:49 p.m. to help a worker who was injured.

After arriving, personnel ascended to the 59th floor to access the patient. Firefighters stabilized and packaged the patient. Once secured, the patient and the firefighter were lowered to the ground by a crane on site.

The patient was transported to UMC in stable condition.
