California family desperately searching for daughter lost in shooting

A California family is desperately searching for their daughter who they say was lost in the chaos of Sunday night's deadly mass shooting on the Las Vegas Strip at a country music festival.

According to the LA Times, Christiana Duarte's family is now searching for the Redondo Beach native after she went missing during the mass shooting that took at least 59 lives.

As of Monday, a family friend told the LA Times that they still have not found the young woman they call Chrissy.

"She went to the concert and as of right now is missing," said Hayley Mullin of Redondo Beach.

Mullin also told the Times that a friend of Duarte who was with her has been located at a Las Vegas hospital.

Duarte's family and friends are also having a hard time locating her because they say she doesn't have her ID or phone.

A friend of Duarte's went to Instagram to ask for information about her. "PLEASE if anyone has seen Chrissy reach out!!"

The LA Kings are also searching for Duarte. She just started working with the organization after graduating from college.
