Police investigate homicide in east Las Vegas valley |

WATCH LVMPD'S BRIEFING:

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide in the east part of the valley.

Officers located a person suffering from a gunshot wound near Vegas Valley Drive and Mountain Vista Street Sunday morning.

The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police will provide additional information on this homicide at 11:15 a.m.
