Crime

LAS VEGAS  -- Motley Crue singer Vince Neil who was arrested in Las Vegas on a drunken driving charge has been released from jail.

Records show that the 49-year-old rocker was released Monday after being held at the Clark County jail following his arrest late Sunday. Police say Neil was involved in an incident while driving his Lamborghini sports car on Desert Inn Road near Las Vegas Blvd.

Police say there was also another incident involving Neil earlier in the evening in front of the Hilton in which a fan alleges that her camera was broken.

It wasn't immediately clear if Neil had a lawyer. Las Vegas police Officer Barbara Morgan confirmed the arrest, but said she didn't immediately have details.

Neil has a Sept. 27th court date.
